Julie's Background and Process

Julie says that she "loves to take remnants of Batik and hand dyed fabrics to create something new and beautiful." For Textiles was "just a normal part of my life" growing up. While her Grandmother influenced Julie, she doesn't create quilts the way her grandmother did. Her passion is mixing the traditional with the modern.

Each downloadable PDF contains easy to follow, step by step instructions that will allow you to create your own fabric art project. You simply choose the fabrics and thread that speak to you and follow the instructions in the PDF – soon you will be making art quilt projects as gifts and for your own personal enjoyment.
